Egon Schiele's self-portrait

This poster stamp was issued to promote a weeklong festival in 1912 honoring Austrian composers. The festival also included two concerts, on 25 and 29 June. The image on this poster stamp was from a self-portrait done by Vienna Secession artist Egon Schiele in 1910. The image was also used for a poster promoting a literary lecture on 11 April, 1912. This is thought to be the only poster stamp utilizing a Schiele image.
